The Primary Years Programme (PYP) at Vista Academy provides a curriculum framework revolving around five elements: knowledge, concepts, skills, attitudes and actions.  The IB-PYP is driven by international mindedness, integrated curriculum, and individualized, inquisitive-led learning.  In addition to grade level curriculum, all students at Vista Academy attend weekly classes in music, dance, theatre, and STEAM.  Grade level educators collaborate closely with arts educators and IB Coordinator to ensure that all students at Vista Academy engage in a rigorous academic program in which the arts are integrated into Common Core and Next Generation Science standards' based academic learning experiences.

Vista Academy Foundation offers support for the IB curriculum by providing additional funding to all grade levels.  This funding includes field trips, classroom supplies, curriculum materials, and experiences that help enhance learning experiences for each IB unit of study.
