About the Conservatory
Our Grade 3–5 Art Conservatory is a space where imagination takes the lead! Students will paint from their own ideas, creating imaginary flowers, animals, and dreamlike worlds. We’ll experiment with drop inks, watercolors, and mixed media techniques to design vibrant abstract backgrounds and layer in unique details. Each student will explore creativity, expression, and their own artistic voice.
Tuition & Fees
💵 Conservatory Fee: $45 (covers all art materials, tools, and supplies for the session)
Performances & Exhibitions
🖼️ Students will showcase their artwork at October’s Festival of Arts, celebrating creativity with our community. Families and friends are encouraged to attend and enjoy the exhibition!

Meet the Teacher
👨🏫 Mr. Hughes
Elementary Art Teacher & Conservatory Leader
With years of experience teaching visual arts, Mr. Hughes believes every child is an artist with a unique vision to share. He encourages curiosity, experimentation, and joy in the creative process. His classroom is built on respect, play, and the idea that art should feel fun, meaningful, and personal.

🌟 Program Description
Our Grades 1–2 Conservatory is a joyful space for young artists to explore creativity and imagination. Students will experiment with color, shape, and storytelling through art, learning how to express ideas using paints, oil pastels, watercolors, and mixed media. Projects include:
- Creating playful animal portraits
- Designing magical gardens
- Exploring pattern, texture, and color mixing
- Using collage and paint to bring imagination to life
We focus on helping students build confidence, practice fine motor skills, and develop their unique artistic voices.

🎭 Performances & Exhibitions

Hello! I’m Mr. Hughes, your child’s art teacher. I believe every child is an artist and that art helps us express who we are and how we see the world. In our conservatory, students will not only create beautiful art, but also learn the joy of collaboration, imagination, and self-expression.
